Maybe it’s wrong deciding bounty list as this post’s title, yet frankly I don’t care. I just need to get this phrase out of my head. By any definition, bounty list often used by bounty hunter to figure out their prey, calculate the risk and of course the reward. So why does it come to be interesting? Any way, I’ve been playing this game, Forces of War, for two weeks. It’s kinda online game where people from all around the world joining the network, build up an army, then set up clan(s), and finally go to war beating each other. It’s simply a one click game, in which the players neither see the soldiers nor the enemies graphically but only on the form of statistically measured power. You collect items (weapons, vehicles, money, and gold bar), expand allies, win the battle and tourney (a slank term for tournament), rise up the level, and gain or establish popularity as the honorable general. So far, a japanese player, code name Devil666, is still staying up high alone on the ladder. He is the undeniable top target for every bounty hunter and also an undefeated player at his rank.

So, how does this kind of one single click game make people stay awake at midnight just for checking updates? I think, as it happens to me, the game itself keeps the players to be obsessive in earning infinite money and power. Money comes first, you buy bases and collect hourly income, the bigger amount of the cash flow allows you to get a bigger upkeep, a term referred to ability to maintain an exact amount of weapons and vehicles. Then, we’re dealing with power. This is the tricky part, the players need to pay more attention on making alliances with other player. They exchange their alliance code, encourage the chance of maximizing attack and defend score up to infinite alliance, and at the same time expanding their friendship network.

Friendship network? Nah, that’s the case. FOW can be played both via facebook or smart phone device with internet connectivity. Most of the players use Blackberry to access the game board. So, it’s not just about forming clan on the net. Most clans require their member to post their ВВМ code as well, which let them involved in a more interactive platform inside ВВМ group. One of the hottest conversation, as it happens in my clan, is how much is the price of our head on FOW bounty list, you should understand the logic we use here. So every Friday, just a couple hour before the tourney, we attend our clan meeting via ввм. We discuss the strategy to win the tourney, well it’s no longer about the money we’ll get from the tourney cos it’s already covered up by our hourly income, it’s just a matter of completing the challenge and taking our pride as a player with the most accomplished mission.

Yep, that’s all. If you’re interested in playing FOW, just download it from your smart phone, try a lil’ sensation of becoming madly obsessed to infinite power. But eventually, when you get bored cos the game seems to take too much time in re charging stamina/energy bar or cos your provider server get down without any notification so you can’t access the game, just type a nonsense note like I do.
